Adult Education
Lifelong Learning models are emerging across the country as our culture discovers that there are no age limits for self-improvement classes. The Midlands Community Development Corporation (MCDC) realizes that busy work schedules, high tuition, and inconvenient times and locations are the major reasons cited for not pursuing educational ventures. It is our aim to make learning fun and accessible for the adult learner and to that end we have fashioned classes to meet your needs.
Foreign Language and ESL Classes
MCDC offered one Spanish class during 2006. We are currently scheduling an “English as a Second Language” class that is due to begin in January 2007. Classes run for six weeks and are generally held in the evenings. A non-refundable registration fee is required. For more information, call Sarah Franklin at 803.647.9111.
