Fashion Threads Sewing and Alterations
Professional tailoring and alteration services are now available in the Dream Center! Whether you need clothing articles altered or a custom designed outfit, Ms. Liz McGraw is ready to serve you. MED TECH
MedTech Training Programs is a state approved Nurse Assisting and Phlebotomy Training Program that offers a basic level of knowledgeable skills for students who are to provide nursing or nursing related services in a skilled nursing facility, or various other health care environments. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to take the certification exam to become certified in SC. Day and evening classes are available. Paxen Corporation
The About Face Program, an after school program for youth ages 14-17, is funded through the State Department of Education through Paxen Corporation. Students typically enroll in an eight-week program where they receive life skills training, academic enhancement training, as well as employment exploration training with local businesses. SC Academy of Certification and Nurse Aide Training Program
An accredited four-week certified nursing assistants (C.N.A.) training program that provides academic instruction, clincial hands-on experience, and one on one tutoring in preparation for the certification exam. USC Trio Program
Trained counselors work with youth and adults to prepare for and identify sources of financial assistance for college. Assistance with enrollment and completing admissions and financial aid applications is provided. Trio offers several programs at multiple sites across the city. Wateree Community Actions Inc.
Provides services to economically distressed persons and families through rent and utility assistance, medical assistance, and general referrals. Also, provides educational enrichment classes for at-risk youth during summer months. For more information, call 803.786.4500 or 803.353.3822.
