BW Sting

Area youth participate in organized amateur sports as an avenue for creating positive outlets and character building. In addition to teaching the fundamentals of basketball, coaches and volunteers mentor participating youth on the fundamentals of life. Two BW Sting teams represented South Carolina, as they competed in national competitions. The 13 & under Girls Team placed 10th in the AAU National Competition in Polk County, Florida and the 12 & under Boys Team captured the SC Division II runner-up title and competed in the AAU National Competition in Lexington, Kentucky.
